Elf Workshop Holiday Party in Portland & Salem: Crafts, Gifts & Cookie Decorating

Looking for a holiday activity that keeps children engaged, gives families something meaningful to take home, and works for a wide range of ages? PNW Iconic Events' Elf Workshop brings a complete, hosted holiday craft experience to events throughout Salem, Portland and the Willamette Valley.
Instead of simply placing a few craft supplies on a table, we bring the workshop to your event, set it up, provide the supplies, and staff it with one or more festive elves depending on the size and flow of your event. Guests can make gifts, create cards, wrap their finished projects, and leave with something they made for someone they love.

How the Elf Workshop Works
We deliver the workshop to your venue and set up the activity area before guests arrive. One elf can host a smaller workshop, while larger company parties, school celebrations and community events can use several elves and multiple activity tables so more guests can participate at once.
All of the craft materials and basic wrapping supplies are included. Children can move through the workshop at their own pace, choose projects that interest them, get help when they need it, and wrap their creations right at the table before heading home.
Holiday Crafts for Ages 3 Through Adults
One of the most important parts of our Elf Workshop is variety. We intentionally include projects for different ages and skill levels instead of assuming every guest wants to make the same preschool craft.
Ornament making
Keychain and jewelry making
Clay creations
Origami and paper crafts
Holiday card making
Coloring and creative activity sheets
Gift-making projects that can be wrapped and given to family or friends

Younger children can choose simpler projects with lots of hands-on help. Older kids, teens and adults can spend more time on jewelry, keychains, clay, origami and more detailed creations. That makes the workshop useful for mixed-age family events where a single activity often leaves part of the audience out.
Not Every Child Wants to Craft — That's Okay
Some children would rather play than sit down and make something. We plan for that too. Depending on the event, the workshop can include coloring, games and other simple activities so kids can participate without being forced into a craft project.
This flexibility is particularly helpful at corporate family parties, school events, childcare celebrations and community holiday events where children may range from preschool age through teenagers.

Add a Cookie Decorating Station
A cookie decorating station can be added to the Elf Workshop to create an even larger holiday activity area. It works well as a second station so guests can rotate between making gifts and decorating a holiday treat.
For larger events, separating crafts, cookie decorating and play activities into neighboring stations can improve guest flow and reduce crowding at any one table.
A Great Fit for Corporate Family Holiday Parties
Companies often need holiday entertainment that works for employees, spouses and children at the same event. The Elf Workshop gives families an activity they can enjoy together while also creating a natural place for kids to spend time during a larger company celebration.
It can be paired with a photo booth, DJ, balloon décor, roaming characters, winter-themed performers, games, an indoor snow area, or other entertainment to build a complete family holiday experience.
School, Childcare and Community Holiday Events
The workshop also works well for schools, childcare centers, camps, apartment or HOA holiday parties, libraries, community celebrations and other family-focused events. Because we bring the supplies and staffing, organizers do not have to shop for dozens of craft items, build project stations from scratch or recruit volunteers to explain every activity.
How Many Elves and Tables Do You Need?
The best setup depends on your guest count, age range, event length and available footprint. A smaller event may only need one hosted workshop area. A larger event may work better with several elves, multiple craft tables and separate zones for wrapping, games or cookie decorating.
If you are not sure what will work, call or email PNW Iconic Events. You can tell us your expected headcount, ages, venue and event schedule, and we can recommend a setup with no pressure to move forward.
