Indoor Winter Festival Ideas for Schools, Companies & Family Events in Oregon

An indoor winter festival is a flexible way to build a holiday event for schools, companies, community groups and family events without relying on a single attraction. Instead, the room is divided into activity zones so guests can craft, play, take photos, watch performers and move at their own pace.
Build the Event Around Activity Zones
For larger events, zones help prevent one long line from controlling the entire experience. We can help plan the mix based on your age range, headcount, event length and available footprint.
Elf Workshop
The Elf Workshop can serve as a central family activity. One elf or several can host tables where guests make ornaments, jewelry, keychains, clay creations, origami, cards and other gifts. Supplies are included, and guests can wrap what they make right at the table. We intentionally include options for approximately age 3 through adults, plus coloring, games and activities for guests who would rather play than craft.
Indoor Snowball Arena
A fake-snow snowball arena adds physical play without needing real snow outdoors. It works well as a separate active zone so kids who want to move have something different from the craft tables.
Cookie Decorating and Hot Chocolate
Cookie decorating can be attached to the Elf Workshop or run as its own station. A hot chocolate bar can create another warm, low-pressure stop for guests.
Holiday Photo Booths and Staged Photo Areas
Photo booths and staged winter photo areas give families and coworkers a reason to stop for group pictures and can also help visually anchor a large room.
Peppermint Holiday Booths, Games and Inflatables
Carnival-style tents can be re-themed as Peppermint Holiday Booths and paired with games, holiday-themed mini golf or inflatables to create a walk-through festival feel. Staffing is available for many game areas.
Mini golf can also be holiday-themed, giving you an easy all-ages activity that fits naturally into a winter festival or company holiday event.
Roaming and Stage Entertainment
Stilt walkers, magicians, circus performers, roaming characters and stage shows can add movement and scheduled moments throughout the event. For a winter theme, choose performers and visual elements that support the look of the festival.
Balloon Decor and Entrances
Balloon decor can define entrances and zones, and larger decor pieces can make a gym, ballroom or community space feel intentional instead of simply filled with activities.
